We are a supportive organization designed to araise cultural awareness
throughout the Illinois State student body. ALAS has a focus on articulating the issues and concerns that impact Latino
students at Illinois State University.
ALAS sponsors numerous cultural and social activities that unite
the cultures of Latin American countries throughout campus.
The organization goals are to provide the University with programs
and activities that will foster a better understanding of the diversity, broadening the perspective of the ISU campus.
ALAS is also involved in manyh campus wide events such as: Fall
Kick Off (Bienvenidos), International Fair (I-Fair), and Springfest.
Membership in ALAS is open to the University and everyone is welcome
to the ALAS community.
